Dermatitis

Dermatitis is actually just a shortened variety of the condition know as Dermatitis Aczema, or Aczema. The term Dermatitis is basically just a word that means “inflammation of the skin”. There are several types of Dermatitis or Aczema if you will, and all of them usually have the something in common and that’s the allergic reaction to some specific allergen

If you have a reaction that’s allergic, Dermatitis can often develop, and it’s often referred to as contact Dermatitis. There are many different kinds of allergic reactions that can potentially cause Dermatitis. One of the big ones is flea allergy Dermatitis because there are so many people allergic to fleas. There have also been cases reported when a baby is allergic to a specific kind of diaper, Dermatitis develops because of it. Allergic contact Dermatitis is one of the most common kind of Dermatitis seen, but hardly the only one.

Cercarial Dermatitis which is referred to as swimmers itch, has a bad itch to it with raised papules that is caused be parasites in lakes and streams. This form of Dermatitis isn’t all that rare and can be easily cured.

Dermatitis Herpetiformis is a chronic, extremely itchy disease that consists of papules and vesicles. The cause of the rash is unknown though it’s reported to be associated with gluten sensitivity in the small bowel.

Atopic Dermatitis is generally found in the younger people and is an atopic skin disease. Someone with Atopic Dermatitis has extremely sensitive skin to all sorts of allergens, and breaks out very easily. It is often referred to as aczema atomic dermatitis as well.

Seborrheic Dermatitis is a skin disorder the effects primarily the scalp, face and trunk. This skin disorder causes scaly, flaky, itchy red, skin. The cause is yet unknown though there are many factors that are suspected.

Nummular Dermatitis is one of the more common forms of Dermatitis and is identified by round or oval itchy red lesions. It’s commonly called Discoid Dermatitis and is generally found in people in their 60s.

Perioral Dermatits is a skin rash that occurs around the mouth and is usually scaly or bumpy. Perioral Dermatitis can come and go and has a few suspected causes like prolonged steroid creams and inhaled sprays.

Lichenoid Dermatitis is a form of neurodermatitis which causes intense itching and can be identified by exudative, weeping patches that are sporadically placed all over the body.

Stasis Dermatitis is a skin condition involving the leg which results from blood pooling because of poor venous return. Varicose veins are a major contributing cause of this skin condition, which is why it’s often referred to as Varicose Aczema.
