Eczema
If you’ve ever hear of the skin condition Dermatitis, then you’ve actually heard about Eczema. The word Eczema is really noting more than a generalization of the different forms of inflamed skin conditions, or rashes, which afflict millions of Americans and others across the globe. There are many forms of Eczema and the cause of Eczema is not really known. There is really no cure for Eczema either, mainly just ways to treat the conditions. Each different form of Eczema is going to have different treatment methods and medicines to help with the symptoms. Some day they hope to come up with an Eczema cure, but for now we can only hope.
One of the most common forms of Eczema is Atopic Eczema or “Atopic Dermatitis” as many may have heard it referred to. As far as medical causes of Aczema of this variety, they can only speculate that it has something to do with an abnormal response in the immune system.
There are forms of infant Eczema as well or commonly known as baby Eczema where the young child will exhibit Ezcema skin symptoms like rashes and postules on various parts of the body. If you’re concerned your baby may have some form of Eczema, you can go online and find various Eczema pictures and compare them to see if you should contact a doctor.
Some of the other common forms of Ezcema include Dyshidrotic Eczema, sometimes spelled Dishydrotic Eczema, which is again incurable and the cause is unknown though this particular condition can often be season. Some of the effects of the condition are small fluid filled blisters called vesicles on the hands and fingers.
Nummular Eczema is an allergy-related skin condition which has no cure and is found in patients that come from families with allergy histories. The lesions on the patients are coin shaped and the condition is irritated by exposure to different allergens.
There are several other forms of less common Eczema conditions and they all have various symptoms that range from itchiness, to dry cracked skin or even blisters. Scalp Eczema as a cause of thinning hair has even been recently proven. If you have, or suspect you may have one of the above mentioned skin conditions it’s important to see you doctor immediately for Eczema treatment. As stated earlier, there are generally no cures for these conditions and usually appear during early childhood, it’s still possible for anyone to develop symptoms.
